The Business Systems Analyst will analyze existing SQL code to document technical requirements for a new application. Partner with developers, business units, and Compliance to verify existing processes and ensure regulatory compliance. Identify gaps and redundancies in the process and update requirements as needed.
Navigate SQL code (Microsoft SQL Server) and identify/document logic.
Verify that logic is accurate and complete and that it meets regulatory requirements.
Identify gaps and redundancies in the logic and update requirements to resolve.
Think critically and logically about how data fits together to accurately define requirements.
Document requirements and attend regular meetings to review for accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
Excellent organizational skills and project management skills.
Ability to read complex T-SQL code and document the logic contained in stored procedures and views.
Working knowledge of relational databases and analysis using complex datasets.
Comfortable navigating a MS SQL Server to locate and view the code behind stored procedures and views.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand how datasets work together to solve a business problem.
Experience gathering technical requirements and performing data/gap analysis
