  1. Help implement, develop and support Databricks. Proficient knowledge working with hosted data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
  2. Maintain, test, and improve our existing and new SQL databases & data warehouse
  3. Work with vendors on API integrations, system issues, database refreshes
  4. Design data models that ensure data consistency and integrity


General Responsibilities

  • Help implement, develop and support Databricks
  • Help maintain, test, and improve our existing and new SQL databases & data warehouse
  • Work with vendors on API integrations, system issues, database refreshes and more
  • Help with performance optimization techniques that allow quick and seamless connectivity for the business users
  • Design data models that ensure data consistency and integrity
  • Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Proficient knowledge working with hosted data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL and other languages
  • Proficient knowledge of modern object-oriented programming languages, Java/C++/Python
  • Experience maintaining APIs that facilitate communication between systems
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
