Our talented staff of more than 450+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama.

Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Project Accountant We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, pro-active, has good organizational and time management skills. Prior experience with an Architecture or Engineering firm is preferred. Construction industry candidates will also be considered.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of contract information, which includes, but is not limited to maintaining accurate files of client and subcontractors agreements. Will work closely with Project Managers & Principals in preparation of project budgets and other pertinent contract information.
  • Responsible for setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vision accounting software.
  • Works closely with the Project Managers tracking monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders. This may require visiting other offices on occasion.
  • Provides assistance to Project Managers and Corporate Leadership in account collections, receivables and payables.
  • Works closely with clients and subcontractor's accounting departments.
  • Other accounting responsibilities may include accounts payable & unit entry.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Ability to work independently and be deadline driven.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Prefer accounting or finance degree.
  • At least five (5) years accounting experience, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
  • Construction or professional service firms experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency with accounting software packages, Deltek Vision preferred, Microsoft Excel and Word.
