By aligning web initiatives with strategic objectives, the Web Strategy Director elevates Sedgwick's market impact and establishes a standard of excellence across all digital touchpoints.Essential Responsibilities May IncludeServes as a visionary leader within the marketing team, managing Sedgwick's portfolio of market-facing websites to cultivate a dynamic brand presence and drive performance.Leads transformative web initiatives that enhance brand impact and deliver optimized, data-driven experiences for diverse audiences, contributing to measurable business growth.Supports growth and performance marketing, integrated campaigns, and digital product launches through disciplined project oversight and analytics-driven optimization.Guides a lean, agile team to position Sedgwick's web portfolio as a center of excellence for both B2B and B2C engagement.Develops formal operating processes for streamlined web management, prioritization, and quality assurance.Establishes robust protocols and frameworks while promoting continuous process improvement.Facilitates seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.Conducts regular analytics reviews and site performance assessments, reporting KPIs and optimization recommendations to senior marketing leadership.Manages incoming web-related requests, balancing urgency with strategic business value.Partners with marketing, business, and IT stakeholders to align expectations and deliver optimal solutions.Drives accountability by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, and proactively resolving delivery roadblocks.Maintains documentation and project artifacts to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance with internal standards.Performs competitive benchmarking and best-in-class digital assessments to continuously modernize and enhance the organization's web strategy.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations. Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Ten (10) years of related experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or digital product management, with a strong focus on enterprise-level websites, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Skills & KnowledgeAbility to set a clear vision for web strategy and align initiatives with broader business goals. Skilled in leading agile teams and fostering collaboration across marketing, IT, and business units. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver on time. Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and KPI reporting. Understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, WordPress), UX/UI principles, and web development processes. Frontend development a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly. Experience in developing and refining operational frameworks for web governance and quality assurance.
