VRWERX is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative UE5 Game Designer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of gaming and storytelling If you have a deep passion for research and development and are eager to push the boundaries of what's possible in both VR, and traditional gaming platforms, this is the opportunity for you.  In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in designing cutting-edge games for both VR and non-VR platforms. We're seeking candidates who thrive in a proactive environment, working towards high-level goals while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A strong background in UE5 game development and a genuine enthusiasm for gaming across various platforms and advancing AI is essential.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficient in UE5 blueprint and scripting
  • "Anything is possible" attitude
  • Creative problem-solving skills, especially regarding current VR challenges with hardware/software/gameplay
  • Experience with AI and immersive level design
  • Partner with other disciplines to tune systems using both hard data from metrics and also feedback from players & community
  • Become a knowledge source for both designers and other disciplines. 
  • Support quality standards for all our games, both PC & console.
  • Encouraged to innovate and explore new tools and solutions.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have shipped at least one VR, PC/Console game
  • 4+ years in the gaming industry 
  • Quest, PlayStation and Xbox experience a plus
  • Experience with UE4 and UE5 Required.
  • Self-Motivated and proactive.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player capable of collaborating tasks and accepting input/criticism productively.
  • Must be highly proactive in finishing out tasks.
  • A passion for VR and AAA entertainment
