In this role, you will help drive our AI strategy by identifying emerging use cases and advising high-tech clients on where to focus their AI investments. You will develop business strategies to capitalize on new AI market dynamics, using primary and secondary data and collaborating with analysts to deliver impactful insights. Additionally, you will guide clients on integrating AI capabilities into their broader technology portfolios.What You Will DoCreate innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged "must-have insights" for global technology provider clients investing in AI technologiesDevelop insights that offer compelling, actionable approaches to accelerate the client's ability to drive AI software and infrastructure revenue growthBuild in-depth analysis to identify the root cause of client performance barriers and reframe client thinking to drive their business strategy forwardProvide high quality and timely peer review of written contentBecome a trusted advisor to client executive leaders and product managers of AI-native and AI-enabled technologies by providing high-quality 1:1 client interactionsBuild credibility as an AI architecture industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodology and strategy during meetings with client Executive Teams.Validate client strategies and accelerate client decision making by providing available data and use cases that de-risk their business decisions.Create and deliver high value presentation materials for virtual and in-person Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefingsProvide sales support for large and global technology service clients and prospects so Gartner is able to retain and grow seat holders and revenue.What You AreThe ideal candidate will have senior level product management experience with both vision and strategy encompassing all elements of AI architecture that will power leading AI products of tomorrow, including:Data strategy and governance, data science and analyticsComputational infrastructure, computer vision and natural language processingApplied machine learning algorithms, predictive modelling, model trainingData engineering and MLOps and LLMOps, integration and API toolsetsThe candidate will be expected to advise on the following:AI architectural principles around modular design, infrastructure as code, CI/CD for ML, and security-by-design (encryption, identity, network isolation)High-level solution blueprints covering data ingestion, feature stores, model training, serving, monitoring, and governance layersEthical AI design and responsible AI practices, including bias detection, fairness, transparency, and explainabilityAI regulations and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights) and guide teams on complianceAI privacy-preserving technologies (federated learning, differential privacy, secure multi-party computation)AI model documentation and reproducibility.Emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability for business use casesPlease note this is an individual contributor role and NOT a leadership role with direct reports.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience12+ years of tech provider-side experience as CPO or Product Manager AI productsDeep subject matter expertise across AI cloud native architectures and processesFull product lifecycle experience from large or global high-tech provider companies: building product strategy, launching new products, managing product evolution, product pricing and packaging, messaging and market collaboration, product delivery management, managing in- and end-of-life product activitiesStrong knowledge of analytics and AI architectures in hybrid data environments (datalakes, file systems, connectors), data processing pipelines for RAG and Agentic grounding and application development stacksStrong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions during 1:1 client inquiryExecutive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholdersComfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagementsStrong business and financial acumenStrong data and concept visualization skillsAbility to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global teamStrong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverablesAdept at analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks to client challengesAvailability to periodically travel, regionally and globally, ~10%#LI-remote#LI-JA4Who are we? Join us.Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 152,000 USD - 190,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
