With more than 150 employees across multiple divisions, BLT is committed to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional living, working, and hospitality experiences.

Position Overview

BLT is launching an enterprise-wide AI transformation initiative aimed at enhancing productivity, streamlining operations, and automating high-impact workflows across the organization. We are seeking a Senior AI Strategist / AI Operations Lead to guide this effort as the central architect and operator of AI-driven improvements.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior AI Strategist / AI Operations Lead:

  • Lead BLT's AI transformation roadmap across all divisions, including development, construction, asset management, property management, hospitality, finance, HR, legal, and marketing.
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement AI use cases that reduce manual work, increase efficiency, and create measurable business results.
  • Collaborate with BLT's cross-functional AI Innovation Team to launch pilot programs, scale successful solutions, and support company-wide adoption.
  • Design and implement workflow automations using modern AI tools (no coding required).
  • Develop frameworks for AI governance, data usage, accuracy validation, and responsible deployment.
  • Partner with business leaders to redesign processes and integrate AI into daily operations.
  • Lead change management, communication, and training initiatives to ensure adoption across approximately 150 employees.
  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track efficiency gains and operational outcomes.
  • Research and benchmark best practices in real estate, hospitality, and proptech to continuously strengthen BLT's capabilities.
  • Serve as BLT's internal expert and thought leader on applied AI.

Qualifications of Senior AI Strategist / AI Operations Lead:

  • 5–10+ years in operations, strategy, or transformation roles - AI experience may be more recent.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI or automation solutions in real business environments.
  • Strong ability to translate business problems into structured automation or AI workflows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide change or transformation initiatives.

  • Experience in real estate, multifamily, hospitality, or construction operations is preferred.

  • Familiarity with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Grok, ElevenLabs, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, and similar platforms.

Benefits Awarded to the Senior AI Strategist / AI Operations Lead:

  • Competitive salary with potential for bonus
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Housing discount at BLT properties

BLT is an equal opportunity employer. Please note that this job description is intended to outline the general nature and key responsibilities of the role. It is not a comprehensive list, and duties may evolve over time based on business needs.
