Environmental SpecialistEnvironmental Scientist/Geologist Our client, an environmental consulting and remediation firm, is seeking Environmental Scientists and Geologists to support site assessments, field investigations, and remediation projects throughout the South Jersey area. Responsibilities:Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions while effectively overseeing subcontractor activities.Experienced in conducting a range of field tasks including:Site inspectionsSoil and groundwater samplingGeophysical oversightMonitoring well installationOther remediation or monitoring work.Able to communicate clearly with supervisors and project managers from the field, making sound decisions as situations arise.Strong technical writing skills and attention to grammar, well-organized reports are essential.Background in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, as well as New Jersey Site Remediation Projects, is highly valued.Requirements:Bachelors degree or higher in geology, environmental science, or a related scientific discipline, along with two to six years of technical experience in the environmental consulting or engineering industry.Detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with clients and team members, and produce clear, accurate technical field notes and reports.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities effectively.Strong focus on detail and quality of work, with the initiative to make informed technical decisions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.Current 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and/or 8-Hour Refresher is preferred.
