Overview

Responsibilities - How you make an impact:
- Acts as the liaison and point of contact for both internal and cross-functional projects.
- Create project plans and builds consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders.
- Supports management through project planning and coordination to meet commitments on time and within resource limitations; with client and management approval, assists with the determination of requirements, priorities and monitoring of progress.
- Works within program discipline and develops expertise as the documentation subject matter expert (SME), to expedite revisions, corrections, and changes to previously published documentation.
- Meets regularly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams for status updates.
- Write concise documentation including but not limited to the following: procedures, work instructions, and other operational documents.
- Create and maintain internal documents and ensure they are organized, accurate, and meet department branding requirements.
- Participate in all aspects of documentation development from project planning through project release, including but not limited to: developing, writing, editing, and publishing the content
- Look for operational efficiencies while documenting content and communicate areas of improvement within process to SMEs and managers
- Work collaboratively with various teams and disciplines to develop documentation that satisfies its intended purpose
- Escalating blockers to team lead
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Specialist or similar/relevant experience.
- Proficient in Google & MS Suites (ie: Google Sheets, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Google Docs).
- Experience in project and process management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a cross-pyramid capacity.
- Knowledge of processes & procedures development.
- Technical writing and documentation experience.
- Stakeholder and relationship management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply domain specific knowledge.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communications or related fields; or 3+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with document management and/or information architecture.
- Experience working in Physical Security with exposure to global operations / projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Editorial, copywriting, and/or analytics experience
Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $83,200/Yr. - USD 85,00Yr. and is an Exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
