Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT Program Manager to join our team on a contract basis. As an IT Program Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end implementation of Oracle solutions during a big digital transformation. This role involves driving the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex Oracle implementations, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the Oracle implementation, from initial requirements gathering through to post-go-live support, coordinating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless transition to the new systems.
Candidates for this role must be local or comfortable commuting to the Smyrna/Cumberland area Monday-Thursday each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the full lifecycle of projects, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan that covers all phases of the Oracle implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams through each stage of the Oracle implementation, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and Oracle or third-party vendors, managing relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of services.
- Define the program scope, goals, and deliverables that support the successful implementation of Oracle solutions.
- Develop comprehensive implementation plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
- Monitor and control the execution of the Oracle implementation to ensure it remains on track and within the established plan.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT program/project management, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Oracle implementations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Oracle implementation projects on time and within budget.
- Strong experience working with third party system integrators
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle products and solutions, including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, and related technologies.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage large, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and Oracle-specific tools (e.g., Oracle ADF, Oracle Fusion Middleware).
