Duties and Responsibilities:

-Oversee estimating department to ensure bids are going out on time.

- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement preconstruction strategies and plans.

- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of project requirements, including scope, budget, and schedule.

- Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages for potential projects.

- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Review architectural plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify potential issues or conflicts.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance during the preconstruction phase to ensure project feasibility and constructability.

-Write purchase orders to vendors/subcontractors and request submittals - Review submittals and submit for engineers approval, work with project manager to ensure release of all HVAC equipment .-Review and approve purchase orders to ensure they are being charged to the correct projects. - Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project details, address concerns, and provide recommendations.

- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and other vendors.

- Manage all change order work to include pricing, follow-up, and procuring the required materials associated with the change order in a timely manner. -Ensure project team is working off the most current set of project documents. -Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to stay informed of best practices in preconstruction management.– Attend construction meetings if PM is unable to attend-Conduct a final walkthrough of each project to ensure that project has been completed as per the contract to help reduce callbacks.
