Account Manager/Technical ManagerThis role operates as an Account Manager based in San Jose, CA. You will manage several product lines for key accounts, including business and customer relationships. You will report to the Director of Account Management. The ideal candidate will create and execute sales plans to generate sustainable growth and drive customer satisfaction. TSMC is currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office.ResponsibilitiesDevelop customer relationships that includes C-level executivesSet strategic pricing and business solutions for silicon wafer, testing, assembly and advanced packagingNegotiate and provide quotes to close sales that drive revenue and profitabilityEstablish and manage collaborations on technical/cost-effective solutions to meet customer's needs and TSMC's goalCollaborate within the account team and cross-functional teams on both business and technical issues with tangible actions for account strategy alignmentDrive demand creation including demand forecast and order fulfillmentPerform market and cost analysis to guide clients on the appropriate solutionsProvide business analysis and written briefings for the Account Director and VPMinimum QualificationsBS/MS degree in engineering, business or science12+ years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Foundry Management in semiconductor industryGood knowledge of advanced semiconductor technology, process, and operations including test and product engineeringStrong customer orientation and communication skills (written and presentation)Proficiency in Microsoft office especially ExcelProficiency in reading/analyzing financial statementsAbility to travel (international and domestic) up to 15% in a yearPreferred QualificationsBilingual in Mandarin and English is preferredMBA concentration in Accounting, Economics or FinanceExperience in IC circuit design, process technology, product engineering or advanced packagingAbility to analyzing financial data and presenting it in a clear and concise mannerTrack record that illustrates ability to learn new skillsExperience working with legal teams on business and technology contractsAbility to work independently and as a team in a very fast-paced environmentProven track record of meeting sales goals and building long-term customer relationshipCompany DescriptionAs a trusted technology and capacity provider, TSMC is driven by the desire to be:The world's leading dedicated semiconductor foundryThe technology leader with a strong reputation for manufacturing excellenceAdvancing semiconductor manufacturing innovations to enable the future of technologyTSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model when it was founded in 1987 and has been the world's leading dedicated semiconductor foundry ever since. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays an annual base salary between $140,000 and $185,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
