About Us: Pro Community Group, Inc. (PCG) is a forward-thinking, social-impact L3C organization. We are a mixed-use, mixed-income development consulting firm. Our mission is to revitalize distressed and disenfranchised communities throughout the United States by creating high-quality, affordable housing as part of comprehensive community revitalization efforts. Our holistic approach includes leveraging Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), debt, and equity to finance our projects. We joint-venture and partner with developers and general contractors and have established relationships with churches exploring repurposing their sites for social impact and economic development throughout the U.S.
Job Description: We seek a dynamic individual to join our team as an Equity Member, working ten hours (on average) a week. This individual will be crucial to our mission to develop mixed-use, mixed-income projects nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community development, exceptional business planning and forecasting skills, and experience working with local, state, and federal agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive business plans and financial forecasts to support funding efforts.
- Collaborate with investment groups, family offices, developers, general contractors, CDFIs, and private lenders, with which PCG has established relationships.
- Support and participate in discussions with churches and other organizations interested in repurposing projects – PCG is evaluating dozens of early-stage projects.
- Engage in community real estate development and community engagement activities.
- Work closely with the team to secure funding and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to the growth and sustainability of PCG through innovative and effective business strategies.
Qualifications:
- MBA from a top business school or a recently retired executive with significant experience in business planning and forecasting.
- Strong background in community development and real estate.
- Exceptional skills in creating detailed and practical business plans.
- Experience working with local, state, and federal agencies.
- Passionate about start-ups with a mission and committed to making a national social, economic, and community impact.
- Ability to work as a colleague and peer, devoted to supporting the team’s efforts.
Compensation:
- Immediate equity in PCG, with increases based on performance.
