Each position is funded by the NSF Geometry and Topology Research and Training Group (RTG), and is anticipated to be of two years duration, with summer support, and with the possibility of renewal for a third year. The RTG brings together students and researchers in the three interrelated areas of algebraic geometry, geometric topology, and symplectic geometry; see for more information.
