Position Overview:

***This role requires you to be in the office 3 days per week in either St Louis, MO or St Petersburg, FL

The Implementation Support Specialist collaborates closely with the Implementation Team to facilitate seamless client implementations. Working alongside healthcare payer clients, team members analyze their data and print fulfillment needs, configuring the Zelis system to ensure efficient composition and processing. This role entails configuring Zelis systems for various services, including Explanation of Benefits, Letters, Payments, and ID cards, utilizing both paper and electronic formats.

Additionally, the Implementation Support Specialist tackles project-specific tasks, while actively contributing to the team by identifying barriers and offering solutions through training and collaboration with internal resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client calls to learn about the needs of the implementation and help solution for the project

  • Apply technology and Zelis product knowledge to assist with addressing client needs

  • Design payer communication documents or ID cards

  • Perform double checks for accuracy before turning testing output back to client

  • Utilize Jira for creating & monitoring tasks and keeping team members informed of progress of assigned tasks

  • Maintain secure users and perform annual security audit, under the supervision of Manager of Implementation

  • Collaborate with Implementation Team on internal enhancements for efficiencies and cost saving opportunities

  • Prioritize assigned tasks based on Go Live Date and revenue, with assistance from Manager of Implementation

Required Qualifications

  • Must live within 100 miles of our St Louis, MO or St Petersburg, FL location

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED

  • 4+ years of work experience in an office setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degree

  • 3+ year‘s experience working in the Healthcare Industry

  • Knowledge of healthcare claims communication process, as well as printing aspects of claims communications documents or enrollment materials

  • Ability to understand and utilize web-based applications for project management and client business to business applications
