The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting IT organization. Responsibilities include leading and conducting interviews with diverse IT stakeholders, documenting and diagramming IT environments, and collaborating with project stakeholders to develop requirements. The role involves working closely with the OIT Portfolio Manager during the project initiation phases and ensuring compliance with law enforcement policies. The Analyst will also assist in project rationalization, managing requirements, and supporting solution engineering efforts.Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with law enforcement policies, including CJIS onboarding and fingerprinting.
  • Document and diagram IT environments with proficiency.
  • Support project initiation phases, including discovery and initiation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop requirements and align with solution engineers.
  • Limit high-level estimates and impact assessments to 15 hours during Gate 0.
  • Produce quality documentation, process maps, and use case diagrams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst focused on enterprise applications and IT systems.
  • Proficiency in Agile, business analysis, data analysis, Jira, Microsoft Excel, and SQL queries.
  • Experience in business case development, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proven success in facilitating discussions and building consensus.
  • Experience with CMDB and application portfolio management tools is a plus.
