Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of heavy equipment across various job sites.


Shift: Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.


Responsibilities:

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
  • Perform schedule maintenance, repairs and component replacements on heavy equipment
  • Travel to various job sites providing on-site repairs and technical support to minimize equipment down time.
  • Maintain detailed records of service activity and prepare accurate reports for management.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Interact with operators in the field to understand their needs, explain repair options, and address any concerns or questions.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety regulations, environmental standards


Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment. (engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems)
  • A willingness to embrace a fast-paced environment with a dedication to excellence.
  • ASE certification or certification from a recognized training program is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and solve technical problems, proven experience or related role is preferred
