An electric utility client is looking for a Data Analyst to demonstrate the ability to perform basic quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, and analyze data and information.


Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91361, ONSITE

Position: Data Analyst

Pay Rate: $31/hr. on W2

Duration: 12 months or longer

Schedule: M-F, 7 am – 4pm, 1 hour lunch, or 7 am – 3:30pm, ½ lunch


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gathers documents and research data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources as needed.
  • Meter Service Requests (MSR) management including, posting and documenting inspections, customer applications
  • Pre-set meter management
  • MSR exception management
  • Meter/MSR related reporting (SLA, Public Authority)
  • Deals regularly with information and issues having a minor to moderate department and/or corporate impact


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of analysis.
  • Proficiency in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Objective evaluation of information.
  • Developing actionable solutions.
  • Understanding data management systems.
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Experience with customer service, computer software, online applications, office equipment, and filing systems
  • Work order package splitting and preparation for construction and inspection
  • Provides information and support to the District and Hub, as needed
