Description: As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in our pharmaceutical operations. Your responsibilities will include retrieving medications, preparing orders for pharmacist review, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient workflow within the pharmacy. You’ll also assist with customer service calls and inquiries, contributing to our commitment to patient care and satisfaction.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday Shifts will be between 3pm – 11:30pm EST

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process and fill prescription orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients as required.
  • Manage drug inventory and automated dispensing units.
  • Replenish workstation supplies for prescription filling.
  • Provide excellent customer service during patient interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
  • Current New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pharmacy or prescription data entry.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Previous experience in a mail-order pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical equations and computer skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and cooperation abilities.
