Our client is a well-established non-profit organization based in Northern NJ. They are hiring for a Junior Staff Accountant. Salary/Hourly Rate: $60k - $65k Position Overview: The Junior Staff Accountant will be responsible for the daily AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger work while reporting directly to the Accounting Manager of the department. Responsibilities for the Junior Staff Accountant: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as a Junior Staff Accountant. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Assist with general ledger entries and month-end work. Manage expenses and ensure proper coding. Assist with additional projects as needed. Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Staff Accountant: 1 - 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience. Prior non-profit experience is a plus. Proficiency in Excel. Exposure to NetSuite is a plus. High attention to detail. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Benefits: Client-provided benefits available, upon eligibility.
