Job Description:
Role Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst at Client will primarily focus on managing and analyzing data related to the company’s sourcing and procurement activities. Their main tasks include developing tools and processes to improve sourcing strategies, making data-driven decisions, and supporting the overall supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: They will collect and analyze large sets of data concerning procurement and supplier performance. This involves spotting trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing actionable insights to improve sourcing strategies.
- Tool Development: The analyst will use software like Microsoft Power BI to create analytical tools and dashboards that help the company visualize data more effectively. These tools are essential for making informed decisions quickly.
- Strategic Support: Beyond just analyzing data, they will help develop and refine the company’s sourcing strategies. This includes working on projects that enhance the company’s procurement processes and collaborating with different departments to align sourcing strategies with broader business objectives.
- Project Management: They need to manage multiple projects at once, ensuring that all are progressing on schedule and meeting the set goals and standards.
- Technical Proficiency: The role requires strong technical skills, particularly in data management systems and analytics platforms. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP is also crucial.
