Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges
What You Will Do With JT4 The PCB/RF Electrical Engineer will plan, develop, research, design, manufacture, test, install, integrate, and maintain diverse software, electronic, and mechanical equipment and systems
Essential Functions/Duties
• Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards
• Design in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Altium (or comparable design software)
• Participate in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology
• Generate required artworks & drawings for fabrication and assembly Fine pitch Ball Grid Array (BGA) routing, including micro vias and back drilling
• High-speed, impedance-controlled stack-up, multi-layer board layout design that meet the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines
• Sizing, installing and troubleshooting various electronic components including leadless surface-mount device (SMD) Additional Strengths
• Wire harness design and build, including associated sub-components multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, etc
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic waves, transmission lines, signal propagation, and frequency spectrum
• Knowledge of antenna theory, including types of antennas, radiation patterns, and gain REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and 8 years of related engineering experience, or an accredited Master of Science in engineering and a minimum of 6 years of related engineering experience, or an accredited doctorate degree in engineering and a minimum 4 years of related engineering experience are required for this position
In addition, an Engineer IV must possess the following qualifications:
• Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering to provide consultative services on development programs and in the design and development of systems and components
• Knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in engineering to solve complex problems in the specialty area
• Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools
• Well-developed leadership skills
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems from a broad prospective
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Planning/organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
Must be a U.S
citizen
SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 annually
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay
JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards
There is occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness
Routine travel to remote Company work locations may be required
