Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform a range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms. This role requires proficiency in stereotactic biopsy and/or quality control related to mammography, with the ability to work autonomously and under indirect supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms.
  • Conduct stereotactic biopsy procedures and quality control specific to mammography.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment with a focus on high-quality imaging.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate records.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  2. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
  3. Competency in performing stereotactic procedures and/or quality control related to mammography.
  4. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association (CPR and AED).

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 1 to 3 years of experience in mammography.
  2. 1 year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control specific to mammography.
  3. Experience in a clinical research setting.

Work Environment: This position requires the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision in a dynamic healthcare environment.
