Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on, IT Applications Manager (Finance) with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials. The position has overall responsibility for the architecture, support, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion Finance across various modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.). As a "player/coach", this role will lead a team of analysts and developers, both onshore and offshore, to ensure applications meet business needs, adhere to IT design and security standards, and maintain operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Analysts and Developers, with expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle Fusion EPM.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to prioritize and guide application development and enhancements.
  • Ensure alignment with finance business processes and data flows.
  • Independently lead requirements gathering and solution design for high-level objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of implementation plans and manage small to medium-sized projects through the SDLC process.
  • Manage production and operational support activities, working with either internal teams or managed service partners.
  • Ensure compliance with design principles, security standards, and governance policies.
  • Maintain a hands-on technical role while balancing team management responsibilities.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance business outcomes.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of team management experience in an ERP environment, including 4+ years leading Oracle Fusion Financials support/implementation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Finance across various modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.), with expertise in business process analysis, solution design, enterprise application support, and vendor management.
  • Proven ability to manage offshore/nearshore service partners, collaborate with business partners, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, IT teams, and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with deep knowledge of finance business processes.
  • Proficient in creating visual representations of business processes, data flows, and architecture diagrams.
  • Effective project management skills with a collaborative approach to working with business and IT partners.
  • Adaptable communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical language, and maintain composure under pressure.
