Job Description:

Healthcare Group (HCG) is looking for a Principal Software Engineer in Test\u00A0to work on Fidelity Health Benefit technology team. The ideal candidate enjoys designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites to ensure product quality and release readiness. We seek a talented individual capable of bringing a software engineering mindset to our testing practices.

The Team

This team will be working on test strategy and implementation of key technical solutions in quality engineering to enable the development team to release products into production rapidly with the highest quality. The individual will establish new automation infrastructure, maintain existing automation, and create reusable tests artifacts to streamline the testing process. You will be part of a scrum team as well as part of the HCG FHB QA Chapter. Key areas of focus will be frictionless test automation, generic test data management, Mid Tier automation framework, predictive analytics and CICD Integration.\u00A0

The Expertise You Have

  • Minimum BS in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years experience in commercial software development and test automation using object-oriented design methodology.
  • 6+ years experience with Java/Spring
  • 6+ years experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS and REST APIs
  • 4+ years experience testing Restful APIs using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tooling
  • 2+ years experience testing Informatica/SnapLogic ETL processing
  • Strong knowledge/experience building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
  • Knowledge/Experience on Cloud (Azure) is added value
  • Proven technical experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack

  • You have experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack using a variety of automation frameworks.
  • You have expertise with using Java and experience with Cucumber/BDD
  • You have proven knowledge of CI/CD principles using Jenkins and Git and can make recommendations on how to best include test automation into pipelines
  • Work in a team of SDET s focused on automation best practices and building reusable artifacts.
  • You bring a learning mindset to your work and are eager to master and adopt new technologies
  • You thrive in an Agile environment
