Pride Health is hiring for a Retail Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is a 3-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization
Responsibilities:
- Develops competency in serving customers including obtaining and recording initial demographic and other required information, data entry of required information into the pharmacy system for record keeping, insurance verification and label generation purposes and cashiering.
- Develops competence in dispensing and delivery of medications.
- Develops competence in clinical support needs such as but not limited to DIR Fees.
- Develops competence in pharmacy procedures and documentations as required satisfying legal, regulatory and department requirements of pharmacy practice.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Complies with legal, regulatory, accreditation standards. This includes (but is not limited to) controlled substance procedures and USP requirements.
Skills Required:
- Filling tasks
- Processing prescriptions
- Good attendance record
- Able to remain focused
- Able to stand on your feet for the entire shift.
- No patient interactions
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- WI State Registration.
Job Title: Retail Pharmacy Technician
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Schedule: Monday to Friday, either 6:00 am-2:30 pm or 9:30 am-6:00 pm (possibility every other Saturday)
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
