Overview

Our client is looking for an Application Infrastructure Support Analyst to join their application infrastructure support team. As an Application Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of SaaS & Oracle cloud-based applications. You will also provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for complex issues on the project.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize the application infrastructure, including SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS offerings.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems related to application performance, functionality, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and test solutions for application enhancements and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for application infrastructure support.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and best practices for application infrastructure improvement and innovation.
  • Along with the software vendors, act as technical lead for DR and Performance testing for specific applications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT analysis and support.
  • Familiar with middleware offerings such as Apigee, boomi, and Informatica cloud.
  • Experience with drafting technical documentation.
  • Understand basic monitoring concepts and how tools are used to meet those requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic independent troubleshooting by looking through logs, investigating, and fixing simple code issues.
  • Basic understanding of security best practices.
  • Ability to create simple scripts
  • Understands configuration & change release management processes.
  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).
  • Proficient with command line tools on both Linux and Windows servers.
  • Understands networking, load balancers, and general connectivity protocols.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to deliver solutions that meet business needs and expectations.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Familiarity with DSeries Scheduler, Azure DevOp, and/or FlexDeploy.
