Principal ConsultantMEDiSTRAVA, the specialized services team within Inizio Medical, brings together best-in-class expertise from across medical affairs, market access, patient engagement, digital innovation and analytics, real world evidence generation and HEOR, and corporate communications to provide fully integrated strategic support for our biopharma partners from start-up to commercialization and beyond. We are growing and are looking for a highly motivated individual, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and strong experience of working within healthcare consultancy to join our team.Position summary:The Principal Consultant will bring extensive experience in healthcare consultancy, with deep expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscape. They will demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry dynamics and the evolving needs and challenges of biopharma clients, with a particular focus on Medical Affairs.In this position, you will work with senior leaders within MEDiSTRAVA Consulting to design, develop and deliver tailored solutions to help clients navigate changing internal and external environments and expectations, and achieve their goals, whether this is at an organizational, portfolio or individual product level. In addition, the role will involve collaboration with the wider MEDiSTRAVA team and with teams across Inizio on both new business development opportunities and strategic client accounts. The role will also offer opportunities for engagement with industry-leading bodies, such as the Medical Affairs Professional Society, to raise the profile of our organization and build lasting relationships across the biopharma community.Core duties:Lead core client teams supporting the design and definition of strategic and tactical recommendations across a diverse range of projects. This involves applying a deep understanding of the needs of the client situation and needs to ensure high-impact, tailored solutionsServe as a strategic partner to clients, applying in-depth knowledge of clinical, regulatory and access environments to effectively tailor Medical Affairs strategiesLead the delivery of projects to a high standard, reflecting client priorities and timelines, and act as the key day-to-day point of contact for clientsConfidently chair and drive workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear outcomes and actionable next steps that align with client objectivesCoordinate teams and individuals from across MEDiSTRAVA to leverage expertise in support of project deliveryBuild trusted relationships across client and internal Inizio teamsFurther develop an understanding of the evolving needs of biopharma clients, and the differences across different organizational types, e.g. emerging biotech vs big pharmaPlay a key role in driving new business development activitiesActively engage and help inform strategic account planning and opportunities for organic growth across MEDiSTRAVA and Inizio MedicalSupport the development of junior staff through coaching, training, and performance feedbackKey competencies:Prior experience as Consultant or Senior Consultant within strategic healthcare consultancy, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, including the role of Medical AffairsProven ability to drive strategic engagements with biopharma clients, demonstrating expertise in payer, provider, and patient landscapesAppreciates differences in Medical Affairs organizational structures and requirements dependent on company archetypesAbility to understand and clearly articulate client situations and needs to support the development of strategically aligned comprehensive plans to address complex healthcare challengesProject management skills, including multitasking and delivering successful outcomes within own workstreams, and taking responsibility for achievement of project milestones and high-quality deliveryProficiency in research and data analysis, with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret complex or diverse data sets for informed decision-making with minimal supervisionExperience in mentoring and supporting team members to develop and deliver to project requirements and timelinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture client relationshipsProven track record of supporting business development initiatives, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client pitching, contributing to the expansion of existing accounts and overall organizational growthCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practicesWillingness and ability to travelQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a life science-related field required; advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MBA) preferredExtensive experience in healthcare consulting and/or within a pharmaceutical/biotech companyAuthorization to work in the United States requiredTeamwork and collaboration:Willingness to effectively collaborate with the team to achieve common goalsEngenders team spirit, trust, respect and take collective responsibility for team successes and areas for improvementAbility to take and provide transparent and honest feedback, and respect the views of othersDemonstrates verbal, non-verbal and active-listening skills to both problem-solve and help build relationshipsCapacity for multi-tasking, paired with a willingness to pitch-in and help with tasks across the business as requiredCompensation:$175,000 - $200,000 USDDon't meet every job requirement?
