Join us, where we’ll make a greater impact together.What You'll do:Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologiesGuides clients on Agile, QA, and governance for multi-app platform implementationsSupports design, development, and test activities across multiple client projectsSupports large scale implementation teams consisting of multiple development podsGuide clients on architecture design, platform scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical successEnsure solutions are built for scale and performanceCreate and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablementProvide thought leadership on process improvementSupport internal solutions, infrastructure, and toolsMentorship, training, and enablement of resourcesWho We are Looking For:Groundswell is looking for experienced Appian Consultants to provide leadership for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Principal Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client’s architecture. Principal Appian Consultants mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, work with our clients on the most technically challenging Appian programs, and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience with Appian solutions5+ years of related IT experienceBachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related areaActive Lead CertificationExpert experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodologyStrong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresightStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a “do whatever it takes attitude”)RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)Possess an Active Clearance or candidate must be clearablePreferred Skills:UI/UX DesignCloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)Data management and data visualization/BIDevSecOps and/or Configuration ManagementMachine Learning, Artificial IntelligenceSkills:Certification:Why You’ll Never Want to Leave:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plansFlexible Spending Account4% 401K Match (immediate vesting)Paid Time OffTuition reimbursement, certification programs, and professional developmentFlexible work scheduleOn-site gym and childcare optionThe salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
