Technical Business Analyst, Epicor

We are working closely with a Cincinnati-based client to identify a Technical Business Analyst, Epicor. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Epicor ERP implementation and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions leveraging Epicor ERP modules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Configure and customize Epicor ERP to meet business requirements, including but not limited to data model modifications, workflow customization, and report development.
  • Design and implement integrations between Epicor ERP and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across the organization.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate Epicor configurations, customizations, and integrations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and minimizing system disruptions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Epicor ERP ecosystem, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role with a focus on Epicor ERP and/or Epicor Manufacturing Process Software
  • In-depth knowledge of Epicor ERP modules, configuration options, and customization capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for querying and analyzing data within Epicor databases.
  • Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
