The Director of Community Engagement and Career Development plays a vital leadership role in shaping FutureTech Foundation’s outreach, partnerships, and career advancement initiatives. This position focuses on fostering meaningful relationships with schools, universities, and communities while supporting the growth and professional development of our volunteers, members, and program participants. Key Responsibilities: Community Engagement Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, universities, nonprofit organizations, and tech communities. Organize events, workshops, and outreach initiatives to raise awareness about FutureTech Foundation’s mission and programs. Represent FutureTech Foundation in public forums, conferences, and community gatherings. Build strategies to increase volunteer involvement, donor engagement, and community participation. Career Development Design and implement programs that support the career growth of volunteers and members, including mentorship opportunities, networking events, and skill-building workshops. Collaborate with academic institutions and industry partners to create pathways for internships, apprenticeships, and job placements. Lead the development of career resources such as guides, webinars, and workshops tailored to emerging technologies. Support volunteers in developing leadership skills through project-based learning and organizational involvement. Desired Skills & Experience: Strong background in community engagement, career development, education, or nonprofit leadership. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and public speaking skills. Experience with program development, event coordination, or educational partnerships. Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotechnology, robotics, etc.) is a plus. Passion for advancing science, technology, and education through community-driven initiatives.
