Position Overview: - Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialty: Behavioral Health, Mental Health, Psychiatric Nursing - Number of Openings: 1 - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Requirements: Every-other weekend rotation - Call Requirements: None Key Responsibilities: - Provide care for a diverse adult patient population with various mental health conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. - Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient status. - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Maintain detailed patient records and documentation in electronic health records (Med Host). - Adhere to established protocols and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the unit. Qualifications: - Required: Current RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Handle with Care preferred. - Minimum Experience: 1 year of inpatient behavioral health experience. - Float Requirements: Ability to float to other departments as needed.
