Schedule

07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, 12-hour shift with every-other weekend rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The nurse will work in a dynamic environment providing care to adult patients with mental health illnesses including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. This role requires a commitment to patient care and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to adults with behavioral health issues.
  • Monitor and assess patients' mental health status and response to treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members on treatment plans.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate, timely records in the electronic health record system.
  • Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active RN license in the state of Nevada.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Handle with Care certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience.
