Job Description:

Skills required:

  • Experience software testers in high-level and low-level testing.
  • Knowledge of DOORS, Dimensions, Vector CAST, C# and C++, automated test script generation, Cameo is a plus.
  • Understanding of DO-160C validation and verification process. Knowledge of ARP4754A.
  • At least 2 years of experience with the embedded hardware and software integration of Avionics and Mission Systems testing in a SIL environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand certification of airborne system/software processes (DO-178C, DO-297, DO-326, DO-254, and ARP 4754A).
  • Scripting experience using C#, Video Studio Code or Python for building automated test procedures and gathering test results.
  • Vector Cast experience at conducting unit and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of communication standards such as ARINC 429, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, MIL-1553 and Networking (TCP/IP, TSN, DDS).
  • Experience with Git (IBM Rational DOORS and Micro Focus Dimensions)
  • HLR and LLR version control system, managing tasks within an Agile work environment and familiar with Cameo for MBSE requirements management.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree with a Major in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Significant test experience may be considered.
