Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at Arkansas Lung Center. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, conducting assessments, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and educating patients on health management.

Responsibilities:

- Perform patient assessments and provide pulmonary care services under the supervision of a physician

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests

- Prescribe medications and treatments

- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills
  • Patient care and education abilities
  • Prescription and medication management expertise
  • Collaborative teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience in pulmonary and primary medicine
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
  • Master’s degree and appropriate certification required (AANC or AANP)
