This position offers an opportunity for Occupational Therapists (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in the West Point, GA area. The contract role runs from January 1, 2026, through May 21, 2026, with full-time hours totaling 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day). This role supports schools within the district, with exact school assignments determined based on experience and district needs. Key responsibilities include: Delivering occupational therapy services to students in a school environment Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs Developing individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations Documenting student progress and maintaining required records in compliance with district policies Adapting therapy techniques to suit a pediatric population in a school setting Desired qualifications and experience: Active Georgia OT license required Minimum of one year of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably including pediatrics Experience working in schools or with pediatric clients is highly valued COTA candidates with school-based experience will be prioritized Virtual Occupational Therapists (VOCO) with appropriate qualifications are encouraged to apply Location: West Point, GA, with assignments near Columbus, GA; exact school locations determined by district requirements.
