Key Responsibilities:



  • Write a twice-weekly newsletter on health and wellness.
  • Assist in editing and proofreading content for clarity and coherence.
  • Conduct research and fact-checking.
  • Understanding of core journalistic principles and writing style.
  • Work with systems admin, advertising, and marketing managers to fulfill brand goals and initiatives.
  • Identify and promote partnership and ad-generating opportunities.
  • Write with the proper tone and voice to maintain core audience engagement and relationship.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, writing or related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in editing software.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Experience in health journalism (optional but encouraged).


Details


The writer reports to Livelong Editor, Erin Hunter.


90-day contract with opportunity to convert to full-time employment, after reviewing work.


$4,000 a month.
