POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner shall function in providing appropriate and safe medical care to patients within their scope of practice, as well as direction to the registered nurses, health coaches, and in-house health hackers. You will be required to interface with clients on a daily basis to review lab results and implement 10X Health System’s wellness programs. The NP provides continuity of individual patient care and assures a well-controlled, clean environment for the quality care of patients.
ABOUT 10X HEALTH SYSTEM
Our mission is to revolutionize healthcare by developing custom solutions through alternative health technology that optimize well-being, energy and clarity. Our solutions include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, IV nutrient therapy, medical weight loss, nutraceutical imbalance therapy, and GH-releasing hormones.
OBJECTIVES
- Interpret lab values and conduct patient consultations
- Request further diagnostic tests as necessary based on patient outcomes or requirements.
- Evaluation of client’s medical history, physical findings, and diagnostic/laboratory data
- Monitor and management of clients with minor and acute problems and stable chronic diseases
- Initiate and prescribe drug therapies, diet/exercise therapies, topical and systemic therapies
- Develop wellness programs based on patient lab values
- Perform Good Faith Exams
- Manage hormone patients
- Handle administration of cosmetic procedures
- Administer IV Therapy and perform blood draws
- Answer medical and health and wellness questions
- Utilize EMR Platform to organize and track patients
- Follow up with patients to determine efficacy of prescribed protocols, and obtain testimonials and referrals
- Capture patient suggestions and implement feedback for continuous improvement
- Contact past patients to see how we can regain their business
- Attend networking events, workshops, and courses, as well as recruit new patients.
- Initiate referrals to other health care professionals
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to interpret lab results and simply communicate them to patients
- Knowledge of effective weight loss counseling
- Ability to educate on Nutritional and Metabolic testing
- Ability to perform Intravenous therapies involving micronutrients
- Knowledge of Bio-Identical Hormone Therapies for male and female patients
- Ability to educate on Hormone Therapy
- Knowledge of Anti-Aging Procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, sales and organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients and the public
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite, to learn and use an Electronic Medical Records system and other computer applications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- PA-C or ARNP License
- NPI and DEA License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Personal transportation and valid drivers’ license and car insurance
- Position may require weekends and/or after-hours/weekend 'on-call' tele-services
