We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at Westminster Healthcare Center. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine nursing and personal care to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care and support residents' independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing and personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with medication management, as directed by licensed nurses.
  • Participate in resident care planning and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care and treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred.
  • Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter such a program and graduate within 120 days from date of employment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
