About You:

We are seeking a qualified military analyst II to join our TRAC-FLVN (The Research and Analysis Center Fort Leavenworth) scenario support team. As part of this team you will provide daily scenario intelligence support to the Army Futures Command’s (AFC) Research Analysis Center, Fort Leavenworth (TRAC-FLVN) Scenario Division. Focus is to provide development and documentation support to the TRAC-FLVN Scenario Division in new Joint Forces Operational Scenario (JFOS) and Army Future Command (AFC) Standard Scenario builds, in updating existing AFC Standard Scenarios, and in developing vignettes in support of AFC analytic efforts.  


Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides intelligence support to the development and documentation of new Army Futures Command (AFC) standard scenarios. 
  • Provides intelligence support to the refinement of existing AFC standard scenarios. 
  • Review Defense Planning Scenarios for intelligence-related functions to include in Joint Force Operating Scenario (JFOS) development. 
  • Provide intelligence support to JFOS scenario development. 
  • Attend and participate in any workshops related to AFC and JFOS scenario development. 
  • Create Intelligence Annex and any other graphics for orders and briefings encompassing the AFC and JFOS scenarios. 
  • Develop intelligence-related aspects of vignettes based on the AFC and JFOS scenarios. 
  • Provide intelligence support to TRAC studies using vignettes. 
  • Produce executive summaries, white papers, and other reports for management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Candidate must have at least 5 years of military experience.
  • Candidate must have knowledge to "Support' Intelligence Operations.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Candidate must have a knowledge of MDMP and orders production.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
  • Should have a working knowledge of current US Army and Joint doctrine.

         

 Preferred qualifications  

  • MEL 4 or equivalent course (CGSC, SMC, WOSSE, CES Intermediate course or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with the JCIDS process.
  • Operational experience in the intelligence field.
  • Experience serving at the Brigade or above.
  • Joint planning experience.
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited University.
