This role sits within the Research & Development division and is a mixed role of design and implementing processes for product development on the factory. With a 25/75 percentage for design vs product implementation and processes.
Bachelor's Degree Required

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
1. Analytical – Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses
intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures; Actively seeks data, engineering reports, and perspectives from different sources in understanding a problem: Utilizes inputs in effectively formulating work plans and approach; Demonstrates knowledge of, and regularly utilizes, problem solving tools and techniques in work approach (Examples include root cause analysis, statistical analysis, Design of Experiments, DMAIC/Six Sigma methodologies, etc.).
2. Design and Manufacturing – Solid understanding of product development for low to medium volume markets; Experience and understanding of manufacturing technologies such as lding, electronics assembly, packaging, quality engineering and product/reliability testing; Experience working with manufacturing sources in Asia; Ability to understand and lead personnel in all aspects of product design, engineering, quality, production, and supply chain.
3. Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Capable of defining a problem and developing a thorough list of potential causes and alternatives for correction. Follows through on implementation; Effectively prioritizes action plans; Anticipates and thinks through the implications and outcomes before taking action; Exercises sound judgment in isolating root cause and efficiently implements corrective action; Develops and improves work approach and processes by documenting critical action steps and applying knowledge and previous lessons learned.
4. Project Management – Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Executes deliverables on-time, within cost targets, and with the appropriate level of quality; Develops action plans (including outlining owner, action, dates, and deliverables) and executes deliverables on-time, within cost, and with the appropriate level of quality.
5.
