Employees will be a part of a multidisciplinary team who serves people primarily with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, who also have criminal convictions. This is a full time position with state employee benefits. The hourly wage is $17.30 an hour. Psychiatric/Developmental Technicians provide direct care to individuals with mental and behavioral health concerns including: observing, monitoring, and reporting individuals behavior; participating in and supervising individuals activities; teaching daily living skills; de-escalating in crisis situations; assisting in maintaining a therapeutic, safe, and secure environment. Employees must be able to properly manage aggressive, self-abusive, and non-compliant individuals and be able to implement and follow prescribed behavioral programs.
