Job Description:

Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Data Scientist to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis. Our client is seeking an individual who will use their analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to develop solutions to business challenges.


Responsibilities:

  • Identifying data sources - Determining which data is available and useful for a project, and automating collection processes
  • Preparing data - Categorizing, preprocessing, and analyzing structured and unstructured data
  • Building models - Creating, validating, testing, and updating algorithms and models, such as predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Presenting findings - Using data visualization software to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, often for a non-technical audience
  • Making recommendations - Proposing solutions and strategies to business challenges based on data analysis
  • Collaborating - Working with engineering and product development teams


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Core Data
  • Experience with MS Azure/Open AI or QuickSight is preferred
  • Strong Cloud experience with either Azure or AWS
