Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and identifying insights that can drive business decisions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business problems, develop hypotheses, and test those hypotheses with data. Your strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills will enable you to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to analyze large data sets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and provide data-driven solutions
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends and technologies
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
  • OR Master's in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of related working experience
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with diverse data sources and data types
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Experience handling and analyzing clinical biomarker data and clinical trial data
  • Experience working with time-series data
  • Experience with reinforcement learning
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
