This quickly growing company (who have incredible perks like WFH options, competitive bonus structures, and more), is looking for a new Assistant Controller to join their team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Review positions daily, including the review & reconciliation of daily profit and loss, exposures and breaks.
Work with the fund administrator, Controller and trading team to resolve any differences.
• Review and reconcile internal vs administrator monthly financial statements and NAV calculations, including
fund valuations, operating expense accruals and fee calculations
• Review valuation of securities portfolios and oversee resolution of any pricing discrepancies, including
preparing materials for, and participating in the Valuation Committee meetings on a monthly basis
• Certain middle office responsibilities - Interactions with fund brokers and custodians to resolve breaks and/ or
fails, processing position transfers across custodians, and options assignment related tasks
• Generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports to internal portfolio management team to aid in
the investment decision-making process
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly marketing materials for company funds
• Aggregate data for use in periodic regulatory filings, working alongside CCO
• Participate in the review of the monthly unaudited and annual audited financial statements and tax return
preparation processes
