Who We Are


Tenth Avenue Holdings is collection of consumer-driven businesses and brands, leveraging a proprietary digital marketing platform, common distribution channels, and shared innovative practices and ideas. We are seeking a Senior, Full-Stack Software Engineer to help oversee development of one of our growing e-commerce companies.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative developer who isn’t afraid to take ownership of a project and thrives working in collaboration with other smart people. We’re always learning and honing our skills, and we want to work with people who are going to make us better.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining features Shopify ecommerce sites
  • Developing and maintaining AWS Lambda functions and EC2 servers that support ecommerce operations
  • Maintaining and building new ecommerce systems integrations
  • Taking the lead on software development projects, independent responsibility for the entire lifecycle of assigned projects or features including understanding user needs, architecture, design, development, and deployment.
  • Implementing code that is clear, concise, tested, and easily understood by others
  • Improving code structure and architecture in service of maintainability and simplification to the extent possible.
  • Documenting software programs with flowcharts, layouts, charts, diagrams and other documentation
  • Performing code reviews to maintain code standards and quality.


Who You Are:

  • Mid-Senior Software Engineer with experience coding full software/web applications including front and back end:
  • 7+ years experience developing software with a backend language like PHP, Python, Go, Node, or .Net for example
  • Strong written & verbal communications skills are required.
  • 3+ years working with relational databases and SQL
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with a cloud platform like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Proficient with design and architecture of systems for scale, speed, and security.
  • Accessibility front-end experience is a plus.
  • Experience with systems integrations and system architecture (especially in AWS) is a bonus


Education: BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field is preferred but not required.
