Guest Room AttendantOmni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Guest Room Attendant. This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room by refreshing rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in.If you love hospitality, creating amazing customer experiences, and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with OmniSalary for this position starts at (based on experience): $19.00/hour. Omni Viking Lakes reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.Additional associate benefits offered include discounts at the spa and restaurants, discounted rates at other Omni properties, corporate discounts, continued education opportunities and more.Responsibilities:Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dustingRestock and replace used items within guest roomsCommunicate clean status of each room upon completionRemove room service trays and tables from guest roomsStock supply cart and ensure that it is always neat and well organizedCheck all equipment prior to and after use to ensure that it is in good working orderRespond to all hotel guests efficiently and in an appropriately friendly mannerQualifications:Strong attention to detailStrong customer service skillsAbility and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a timeAbility and willingness bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.Must be willing to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidaysPrevious experience in housekeeping is strongly preferredMust be able to communicate effectivelyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift.Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.Working Environment:Interior of hotel, dining room and restaurant kitchen, with occasional travel around resort property as needed.Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.Tools & Equipment:Cleaning supplies and cleaning cartPersonal protective equipmentRadioOmni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
