Job Title: Senior Data Engineer with Azure Devops -W2 Only

Location: Rocky Hill, CT (Onsite Role)

As a Data Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to support our data initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Configure and manage Azure DevOps services, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts.
  • Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and release management.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous integration and deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams on CI/CD best practices and tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate CI/CD pipelines with data processing workflows.
  • Document CI/CD processes, procedures, and configurations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing and analysis.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry or working with healthcare data.
  • Experience working on data warehouse projects, including data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
