Position Title: Budget Analyst Location: Hanover, MD Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCIPosition Overview: Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army's readiness and modernization goals. The Budget Analyst supports budget planning, execution, and analysis activities in accordance with DoD financial management guidelines. This role assists in the preparation of funding documents, monitors obligations, and provides financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Assist in formulation, execution, and monitoring of program budgets.Prepare spend plans, funding documents, and obligation/expenditure reports.Track funding status and provide updates to program management.Support preparation of POM and budget justification materials.Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with fiscal regulations.Coordinate with resource managers, comptrollers, and contracting personnel.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.57 years of budgeting experience in a federal or DoD environment.Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes and financial systems.Strong analytical and Excel skills.Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.A Commitment to Equal Opportunity:Hive Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer dedicated to fair and unbiased employment decisions.
