Budget Analyst

Budget AnalystMaximus is looking to hire a Budget Analyst. This role is on-site, five days a week and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. This role is contingent upon contract award. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS104, P2, Band 5 Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accepting, processing, and controlling funds received from customers.Researching, reconciling, and transferring open reimbursable funds.Attending financial meetings, briefing statuses of funds, preparing account reconciliation, preparing special financial reports.Preparing budget reports.Maintaining travel funds.Querying information from DAI, LMP & GFEBS, maintaining and updating excel files.Querying databases for funds, commitments, obligations, disbursement status, and contract reconciliation.Inputting PWDs into LMP.Inputting commitments and obligations into STANFINS, DAI, LMP & GFEBS.Researching and reconciling discrepancies.Preparing funding documentation and managing/updating obligation plans.Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:4 years experience providing budget analysis for multiple large projects.Active TS/SCI security clearance.Must live within a commutable distance to Hanover, MD.BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business, Finance.Advanced proficiency in Excel.Strong analytical ability, written, and verbal communication skills.Preferred Experience:Experience with Standard Finance System (STANFINS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).EEO Statement Maximus is an equal opportunity employer.
